Time for some comfort food! My inspiration for this recipe was partially my grandmother’s baked mac n’ cheese recipe and partially a cheese sauce I made for dinner one night to go on some steamed broccoli.

Skillet Chicken Breasts
I meant to post this before Christmas but Christmas preparations and shenanigans kind of took over. Now that I am enjoying some post-holiday time off from work, the blog is coming back into focus along with the realization that I have a sizable back log of recipes to post. After all the turkey dinners, chicken may not be high on your list so I promise the next post will be a non-poultry recipe.
Peanut Butter Balls
Peanut butter balls have become a Christmas tradition in recent years. My aunt and her friends started making them and last year my mom and I decided to give it a try but we used milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate. This year my mom and I had forgotten everything we had learned last year and had to re-learn by trial error on a few steps. So, while the pictures may not reflect the perfect looking peanut butter ball, there will be tips on how to improve on what we did. Of course the more we made the better we got so hopefully next year when we have this post to reference back to we will have much better consistency.
